Locko

A classic amongst classics - the simple recipe has influenced mixologists the world over to tinker with this cocktail. Basil... cinnamon and habanero... cucumber and chartreuse... we've heard of many crafty twists.


Ingredients

  • Gin
  • Simple Syrup
  • Lime
  • Ice

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Spoon
  • Small Cutting Knife
  • Lemon Squeezer
  • Cocktail Strainer

Glassware

  • Martini Glass

Steps

  1. Fill the shaker with ice.
  2. Add 2 ounces of gin.
  3. Add 1 ounce of simple syrup.
  4. Add the juice of a half lime.
  5. Stir stir stir stir stir.
  6. Strain into the glass.
  7. Garnish with a wheel of lime.
  8. You’ve just made a gimlet. Cheers!
